Newborn sessions are designed to be timeless, classic, and focused on your new baby.
Session Pricing:
Sessions are $500, and come with 5 digital images included in the package. Don’t worry – if you want more than five, you’ll be able to upgrade your package to include as many images as you want!
Fresh 48 Photography with Lollipop Woods
First of all… congratulations on adding another little member to your family!
Things you need to know:
- Fresh 48 sessions take place in the first 48 hours of your little one’s life – so whether that means they’re taking place in your home, in the hospital, or at a birthing center, you’ll have memories from your little one’s earliest moments!
- I completely understand that pregnancy is unpredictable, so we base your booking for Fresh 48 photography on your due date, and we communicate from there to make sure I’m where I need to be, when I need to be there.
- As a mom myself, I know first hand what a whirlwind the first weeks of bringing a new member into the family can be – you deserve to be able to look back at this time. I can also understand how birth photography may not be in the plan for your family for a variety of reasons – Fresh 48 can serve as a nice medium place! Your birth experience remains a family affair, while you still get those memories to keep forever, just after they’re born.

Booking & Pricing
Once you’re ready to book your session, just reach out! I’ll get back to you within 24 hours with a couple of questions, and we’ll get things rolling.
Sessions are priced at $500, and include 5 digital images YOU choose!
Session Day
When your little one is born, let me know! Ideally as soon as possible, so that we can fit your session into the first few days of your little one’s life. If you have a birthing plan that involves more solid dates, we’ll talk about that ahead of your little one’s birth!
Your Images
After your session, you get to see the gallery with all of the images of your bundle of joy.
From there, you can choose your favorites from the proofs, and I’ll get them edited and sent to you within 4 weeks of receiving your list!
What do I need to Prepare?
Fresh 48 sessions, by design, are not really sessions you can prepare for! If you want to be extra on top of things, you can make sure that there are a couple of onesies in your hospital bag (if you’re giving birth in the hospital!)
You can also prep a robe or other wardrobe item for yourself, and bring that as well.
But Fresh 48 sessions overall are designed to capture your love. Raw, real, and un-staged. So all you need to do is be there, and I will handle the rest.
Fresh 48 Photography Questions
I want to make sure you’re completely prepared before your session, so I’ve pulled together some of the most frequently asked questions to help make sure you’re ready before you book!
How do we pick a session date before the baby is born?
We base things on their due date! Mother nature sometimes has her own ideas about these things, but loosely, we anticipate your little one’s session date based on their due date.
My baby was born last week - is it too late?
For Fresh 48 photography… yes. However, it’s not too late to book a Newborn Photography Session, and I’d definitely urge you to take a look! There’s still time to create those memories for you to look back on for years to come.
How many images do I get?
Sessions include 5 digital images, that you get to choose from your gallery. But ultimately, the number of images you get is up to you! You get to choose the number of images you want.
What if I my birth doesn't occur on schedule?
There’s no true “schedule” for Fresh 48 photography, or for birth as a whole. And I completely get that! Unpredictability is built into the way I schedule Fresh 48 photography. If there’s a hiccup in your schedule… reach out, and we’ll discuss to create a plan together.
When should I book my Fresh 48 session?
As soon as you know you’re going to want one! Booking early ensures that your baby’s due date is in my calendar, and we’ve gotten the ball rolling.
When will I get my final images?
Once you’ve chosen your favorite images from your online gallery, you’ll get the edited, final pictures within 4 weeks of your session.
