Newborn sessions are designed to be timeless, classic, and focused on your new baby.
Session Pricing:
Sessions are $500, and come with 5 digital images included in the package. Don’t worry – if you want more than five, you’ll be able to upgrade your package to include as many images as you want!
Milestone Photography with Lollipop Woods
Your little one’s growth deserves to be remembered!
Things you need to know:
- Milestone sessions are your next step in documenting your little one’s growth! They’re offered at 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months of age – between your Newborn Session, and their Cake Smash!
- If you’re not quite into the idea of a Cake Smash session for your little one (whether it’s because they don’t like getting messy, or because you’d rather have a different session type) you can also book a milestone session for their first birthday!
- The idea behind milestone sessions is to remember all the things that happen in the “middle”. When they start to sit unsupported. When they start crawling. For every baby, these will happen at different points, and you deserve to be able to remember these whirlwind milestone months with more than just photos from your phone.

Booking & Pricing
Once you’re ready to book your session, just reach out! I’ll get back to you within 24 hours with a couple of questions, and we’ll get things rolling.
Studio sessions are priced at $500, and include 5 digital images YOU choose!
Session Day
On the date of your session, you’ll come hang out with me and my assistant in the studio, where I’ll have prepped sets for your little one!
Beforehand, we’ll have a conversation about things you definitely want (or don’t want!) included in the session.
Your Images
After your session, you get to see the gallery with all of the images of your bundle of joy.
From there, you can choose your favorites from the proofs, and I’ll get them edited and sent to you within 4 weeks of receiving your favorites list!
What do I need to Prepare?
It’s my job to make this process simple for you – so as far as preparation, there isn’t much for you to think about! If you have an outfit that you absolutely want them to wear, you can bring that. But there’s also an entire client closet that we’ll have access to, so if that’s not a prep step you want… you don’t have to. If there is a family heirloom or other sentimental item you want involved in the session, you can bring that, but there’s also my client prop closet available that I’ll have selected props from before your session. So there’s no pressure to bring personal items either! Really, I recommend bringing a bit of what your little one is eating at the time of your session so that if they get hungry, there’s food, and bringing them. Outside of that, everything else needed is already waiting for you at the studio!
Milestone Photography Questions
I want to make sure you’re completely prepared before your session, so I’ve pulled together some of the most frequently asked questions to help make sure you’re ready before you book!
Can I request a color?
You can absolutely request a color to use in the background of your baby’s images, and I’ll make sure it’s worked into the sets I design for your session.
How many images do I get?
Sessions include 5 digital images, that you get to choose from your gallery. But ultimately, the number of images you get is up to you! You get to choose the number of images you want.
How old is too old for a milestone session?
Good question, but… there’s actually no such thing! Milestone sessions are essentially themed versions of a standard portrait session, specifically for little ones. But you can book milestone sessions all the way through to 3 years old, if you’d like. The point is to capture your little one while they’re rapidly changing – and that rapid growth slows down some at 12 months, but definitely doesn’t smooth out completely until much later!
Do I need 3 month, 6 month, AND 9 month Pictures? It seems like a lot.
The only wrong way to schedule milestone photography is not to schedule it at all! You can pick and choose the ages and sessions that feel right for you and your family.
What if I need to reschedule?
As a mom, I get it. Life happens. Reach out, and we can discuss the situation.
When should I book my baby's milestone sessions?
As soon as you know you’re going to want them! Booking early ensures that your dates are in my calendar, and we’ve gotten the ball rolling.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the session?
Other than making sure you’ve got a little supply of whatever your little one is eating, and some spare diapers… nope! Everything needed for your session is already here in my studio.
When will I get my final images?
Once you’ve chosen your favorite images from your online gallery, you’ll get the edited, final pictures within 4 weeks of the session.
