Cake Smashes are the most fun way to celebrate your little one’s first year!
Session Pricing:
Cake Smash sessions are $700, and come with 8 digital images included in the package. Don’t worry – if you want more than eight, you’ll be able to upgrade your package to include as many images as you want! Your little one is growing up… and that’s worth celebrating!
Things you need to know:
- Cake Smash sessions are unbelievably fun, partially because you get to choose from basically any theme you can possibly imagine. Have a favorite book you want to use as the starting point? We can do it. Something important to your family? Same deal.
- Usually, Cake Smash sessions take place around your little one’s first birthday, but that’s not a hard and fast rule! It’s just the timing that usually gives the best results. But every kiddo is different, so if you’re thinking about a Cake Smash and it’s past your little one’s first birthday, let’s talk anyway!
- I work with a local bakery for the cakes provided for your session, and all of those details will be shared with you at booking. In other words, you don’t have to worry about securing a cake, or props, or any of the items involved in your set!

Booking & Pricing
Once you’re ready to book your session, just reach out! I’ll get back to you within 24 hours with a couple of questions, and we’ll get things rolling.
Cake Smash sessions are priced at $700, and include 8 digital images YOU choose!
Session Day
On your session day, you don’t need to bring anything with you but the cake (which you can order from the bakery I’ll provide details for) and your child! Everything else is provided and organized by me, to make things as simple as possible for you and your family.
Your Images
After your session, you get to see the gallery with all of the images of the fun.
From there, you can choose your favorites from the proofs, and I’ll get them edited and sent to you within 4 weeks of receiving your list!
What do I need to Prepare?
On the day of your session, all you’ll need to bring is the cake, and your kiddo!
Before your session, we’ll talk about the theme you have in mind, and all of the props involved will be provided by me. So there’s nothing you have to worry about collecting for your set, and I even provide a partner bakery for your cake!

Cake Smash Photography Questions
I want to make sure you’re completely prepared before your session, so I’ve pulled together some of the most frequently asked questions to help make sure you’re ready before you book!
What if I don't know how my kid will react to cake?
This is the most common question I get, and the answer is simple. No matter what, it’ll be okay! If your little one is really averse to getting things on their hands, we can always consider a Milestone session instead, but overall, even if little ones aren’t super into making a mess, we can capture amazing pictures at a cake smash!
I need the photos for my child's first birthday party, will I have them in time?
Make sure we talk through the dates, but yes, we can make that happen!
What if I can't think of a theme?
Don’t worry! We can discuss it, or go through some inspiration to come up with a theme together. Or, we can default to some of my classic favorites, that never go wrong!
What if I need to reschedule?
As a mom, I get it. Life happens. Reach out, and we can discuss the situation.
When should I book my Cake Smash session?
As soon as you know you’re going to want one! Especially if you know you’ll want the images for a special family event.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the session?
Your kiddo, and the cake! But we’ll talk all about that ahead of time.
When will I get my final images?
Once you’ve chosen your favorite images from your online gallery, you’ll get the edited, final pictures within 4 weeks of choosing your list.
What if I want more than 8 images?
Don’t worry! You can purchase more images to include in your final gallery, that way you can have exactly the number you’d like.
