Newborn sessions are designed to be timeless, classic, and focused on your new baby.
Session Pricing:
Newborn sessions are $500, and come with 5 digital images included in the package. Don’t worry – if you want more than five, you’ll be able to upgrade your package to include as many images as you want!
Newborn Photography with Lollipop Woods
First of all… congratulations on adding another little member to your family!
Things you need to know:
- Newborn sessions with Lollipop Woods are designed to be classic, and focused on your newborn. It doesn’t mean they’re simple – it means they’re timeless. They’ll look as gorgeous on your walls now as they do in ten years when your little bundle of joy has gotten a tad bit bigger!
- Newborn sessions are set to take place within the first three weeks of your baby’s life, but scheduling a little one’s arrival isn’t always possible. When we reserve your session, we use your due date, and then once your little one is here, we solidify your session date! It’s easy, and seamless. (Which is important, since you’ll have your hands full!)
- All of my newborn sessions include family poses, and sibling poses, because even though this moment is about celebrating your baby, and being able to remember their chubby little cheeks… it’s also about your family. It’s about ALL of you, together. So do we capture your newborn? Yes. Absolutely. But we also capture your love.

Once you’re ready to book your session, just reach out! I’ll get back to you within 24 hours with a couple of questions, and we’ll get things rolling.
Studio sessions are priced at $500, and include 5 digital images YOU choose!
Session Day
When your little one is born, let me know! That’s when we solidify your session day.
On that day, you’ll come see me in the studio, and we’ll work some magic. You get to relax, and take a little break – but remember, there are parent and sibling images included too, if you so choose!
Your Images
After your session, you get to see the gallery with all of the images of your bundle of joy.
From there, you can choose your favorites from the proofs, and I’ll get them edited and sent to you within 4 weeks of receiving your favorites list!
What do I need to Prepare?
I pride myself on making the newborn photography process simple, and stress free for families. And part of that, means making preparation simple too!
Everything needed for your little one’s session, I already have here in the studio. From props, to headbands, to wraps and onesies, if we need it… I’ve got it.
You can absolutely bring extra props to your newborn session if you have a meaningful family heirloom you want involved, but outside of that? It’s already all here waiting for you.

Newborn Photography Questions
I want to make sure you’re completely prepared before your session, so I’ve pulled together some of the most frequently asked questions to help make sure you’re ready before you book!
How do we pick a session date before the baby is born?
We base things on their due date! Mother nature sometimes has her own ideas about these things, but loosely, we anticipate your little one’s session date based on their due date.
My baby was born last week - is it too late?
Not necessarily! It’s always best to book a newborn session the MOMENT you know you’re going to want one, but on occasion we can fit in last minute bookings.
Can I request a color?
You can absolutely request a color to use in the background of your baby’s images, and I’ll make sure it’s worked into the sets I design for your session.
How many images do I get?
Sessions include 5 digital images, that you get to choose from your gallery. But ultimately, the number of images you get is up to you! You get to choose the number of images you want.
What if I need to reschedule?
As a mom, I get it. Life happens. Reach out, and we can discuss the situation.
When should I book my baby's newborn session?
As soon as you know you’re going to want one! Booking early ensures that your baby’s due date is in my calendar, and we’ve gotten the ball rolling.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the session?
Other than making sure you’ve got a little supply of whatever your little one is eating, and some spare diapers… nope! Everything needed for your session is already here in my studio.
When will I get my final images?
Once you’ve chosen your favorite images from your online gallery, you’ll get the edited, final pictures within 4 weeks.
